you will need:
*Rubber bands
*straws
*cardboard
*tape
*scissors
*string
*ruler
1. Cut a Piece of cardboard about 10cm x 10cm. This will be the palm of your hand.
2. Cut a peice of cardboard about 2cm x 9cm. This will be one of the finger.
3. Cut the finger into 3 equal pieces.
4. Put the 3 pieces back together and put 1 piece of tape across the joints.
5. Label the tape with “INSIDE”.
6. Cut a peice of elastic about 5cm long.
7. Put the elatic over one of the finger joints.
8. Tape the elastic down remembering to leave the ends untaped.
9. fold down the untaped elastic and put tape over it.
10. Do this to all the finger joints, back and front.
11. Now tape the finger onto the hand, indside down.
12. Fasten the last finger joint onto the onto the palm.
13. Flip the hand over to the inside.
14. Cut a piece of string about 35cm long and tape one end over the finger.
15. Cut 4 peices of straw about 2cm long.
16. Thread them on the string.
17. Tape 3 of the straws in the middle of the finger sections.
18. Tape the last piece of straw on the the palm.
19. Now make 2 more fingers and put them onto the hand.
20. To operate pull the strings to pick up light objects.
